Porsche factory driver Patrick Long is making the rounds on the airwaves following a second straight class victory at Long Beach with Jörg Bergmeister in Flying Lizard Motorsports’ No. 45 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. The American will be interviewed live on ROAD & TRACK radio at 5 p.m. ET Saturday from Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, site of the ongoing “Allure of the Automobile exhibit.
Long will be on hand at the High throughout the weekend to provide periodic informal “chats” on the plaza explaining not only the heritage of Porsche’s race and street cars – including several seen in “The Allure of the Automobile” exhibition – but also the relevancy of racing to customer cars, an attribute for which the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón is renowned.
One of Porsche’s finest also will be on display – the Porsche RS Spyder prototype that dominated the American Le Mans Series from 2006-2008 with three LMP2 championships and 10 overall victories during the period in the Series. Porsche built just 11 of the prototypes and seven of them raced in the American Le Mans Series.

Earlier this week, Long joined Michael Knight on "The Race Reporters" on Wednesday, just days after another GT victory at Long Beach with Joerg Bergmeister for Flying Lizard Motorsports.
